I am researching the families of KENNEDY,CANIPE,of Tennessee; I have the information on the Kennedys; Robert L. 'Bob'second wife Maggie and he was a saleman and own a saw mill in Jasper, Tennessee, his sons John b. 1876 Lum b. 1880 and Sam b. 1882 From family lore they all eventual moved to the Hamilton County, Tennessee Area from Marion County, Tennessee. I know that John was a butcher, Lum was on the Vaudvillian Circuit with his half sister Mary W. Kennedy and Sam was working for the Loveman Department Store around the turn of the Century. This is all I know any information you have on them will is appreciated.
QUICK, TURNER Of Marlboro Co., South Carolina and Fayette Co., Georgia.
Eli Quick b. ca 1799-1810 in Marlborough County, South Carolina; died Nov. 1877 in Fayette County, Georgia. He married Drucilla Turner born ca 1805-1815 in Marlborough County, South Carolina to Moses T. C. Turner,Sr. Eli and Drucilla married in Fayette County, Georgia on 14 Jun 1828.
Their children are

Nancy E. Quick b. 25 Aug 1829 in Fayette County, Georgia d. 18 Oct. 1913. Nancy married (1) Thomas G. Aldridge on 21 Sep.,1841 and (2) J. J. Newton on 28 Aug.,1856. Nancy and J. J.moved to Atlanta after 1885.

James Wesley Quick b. 12 Mar. 1832 in Fayette County, Georgia; d. 3 Mar. 1905 in Cullman County, Hanceville, Alabama married Cicley Moses of Fayette County, Georgia on 30 Jan.,1856 in Fayette County, Georgia. They moved to Cullman County, Hanceville, Alabama between 1884/1886.

Mary Ann Quick b. ca 1837 in Fayette County, Georgia d. (not know at this time). I have very little information on Mary and I am looking for any facts that can be found I do know she had several children and lived in Coweta County, Georgia.

Pamelia A. Quick b. ca 1839. This is all I have on her. Looking for any information that can be found on her.

William B. Quick, b. 6 Sep., 1841 Fayette County, Georgia d. 18 Sep., 1915 in Coweta County, Georgia. William aka 'Bill' married twice (1) Sarah Jane (last name not known at this time)marriage date Unknown (2) Colin Missouri Jones married Fayette County, Ga. on 10 Sep. 1885. It has been said they also moved to Alabama but returned after a year.

Hen(e)ry Harrison 'HH' Quick b. 10 Jun., 1843 in Fayette County, Georgia; d. 1 May, 1920 in Cullman County, Hanceville, Alabama married Serenia Leona Turner b. 20 Mar. 1841 Fayette County, Georgia, d. 20 Mar. 1921 Cullman County, Hanceville, Alabama. Henry and Serenia married 16 Jul.,1865 in Fayette County, Georgia and moved to Cullman County, Alabama ca 1885.

David M. Quick b. ca 1847 in Fayette County, Georgia; d. ca 1922 in Cullman County, Hanceville, Alabama. David married Sarah Jane Parks of Fayette County, Georgia on 27 Dec.,1865 and they moved to Cullman County, Hanceville, Alabama around 1885. After David moved to Cullman County, Sarah Jane died and he married a second time to 'Babe' lots of information still missing.

Minerva Quick b. ca 1848 in Fayette County, Georgia; d. Unknown (Most probably in Georgia) She married John Wesley Turner on 14 Oct. 1872. Looking for any information that can be found on her.

Manson Quick b. ca 1850 In Fayette County, Georgia. This is all the factual information I have on him.

Sarah Holiday Quick, b. ca 1853, Fayette County, Georgia; d. 22 Apr., 1907 in Coweta County, Georgia. She married Franklin Spear Stubbs on 7 Jun., 1874 in Fayette County, Georgia.

Eliza Louisa Quick, b. ca 1855 in Fayette County, Georgia; d. 1921 while visiting her family in Cullman County, Hanceville, Alabama and is buried in Cullman. Eliz married Richard T. Thomas on 8 Sep.,1872 in Fayette County, Georgia.
