Notes for Susan Little: Located in the Ashland, Al library are some funeral records from Blair funeral home and her funeral record is in one of the books, page 271. This lists her birthday as Sept 9 1865 and her date of death Sept 12 1942. Unfortunately it does not list her parents but it does list her cemetary as Mt Carmel in Mellow Valley. Mother states that she is buried in an unmarked grave next to someone named Fourtnoy. There are about 8 or so unmarked graves in this cemetary and about 3 or 4 Fourtnoy's buried here. Mother states that Suzie's husband Samuel is buried next to her. She doesn't recall what order they were buried in however.
May 28, 2007 I have obtained the death certificate for Suzie Little Clark and it states that she was born in Chambers county.
