Dorothy Sease (daughter of Christopher Sease and Susanna Anhous) was born 1745 in Germany, and died May 21, 1814 in Newberry South Carolina. She married Henry Tidmore on 1753 in Philadelphia, Pa.
Notes for Dorothy Sease: There is great controversy concerning the wife of Henry Tidmore. Kirby Watkins insists that it is this Dorothy Sease, daughter of Christopher Sease (Siss) while others insist that it was Dorothy Goudelock. One problem is that I have Dorothy's birth year as 1745 and Henry's marriage year as 1753 making her only 8 years old. I am coming to the conclusion that Henry must have been married twice to 2 different Dorothys OR that there may have been more than one Henry Tidmore in the area at the time. Both sides claim that they have proof but I have seen neither.
