Notes for Absolom Nixon: Absolom Nixon was my 3rd great grandfather (ie, Great Great Great Grandfather). That is, if we prove he is really the father of James Edward Nixon as I suspect.
I am not absolutely 100% sure that Absolom was James Edward Nixon's father but there is compelling reasons to believe that he was in that they were geographically located in a similar areas but no Census records exist that proves it. Given that no other Nixons are located within a few states of Absolom also makes compelling reason to believe he is Jame's father.
