This family tree are the descendants of Thomas Hosmer, who immigrated to the United States in 1630 settling near Hartford, CN. From there the tree branches to upstate New York in the Batavia area. The branches go wider when the family moved to Rockford, IL, Carroll, IA, and finally to Fedora, Miner County, South Dakota. Much has already been written about the Hosmer genealogy, and will not be duplicated here. Most of the information here traces the descendants of Albert and Hannah Hosmer, who moved to Miner County, South Dakota in 1910. Currently we are looking for connections to Daniel Martin, father of Thomas H. Martin, who was born August 23, 1840 in Rochester, Monroe County, New York. According to census data Daniel G. Martin was born in England and that is all we know. |
