I am researching the Pelfrey, Back, Terrill, Gibbs, Hensley,and Combs families of Eastern Kentucky. The Hunters and Berrys that moved to Washington County, Ohio from Washington County, Pennsylvania, are also my ancestors. In Ohio, they married into the Ball family from Virginia. My husband's family, the Houghtlings(Houghtalings, Hotalings, Houghtelings, etc.), comes from New York and Massachusetts. He is, also, a descendent of the Watermans, Straits, Griffiths, and Allens. His Montgomery County,Ohio ancestors are the Smiths (Ugh!), Frymans, Kretzers, Garvers,and Boomershines. From Germany, came my ancestors the Kuehns (about 1880). And, from France, about 1870, came my husband's ancestors, the Girardeys. I am happy to share any information that I have , and am looking forward to hearing from anyone interested in these families. **If you sent me an e-mail message during the last two weeks of May, please re-send it.Due to a problem with my hard drive, I lost all messages during that period.
