The Harper's

I am researching the Harper Family of Athens County, Ohio. It started with school project of our son. He need to know about his family history. In talking with his grandmother Florence Irene Harper-House, we realized that our knowledge was some what limited to names and a few stories. We wanted to breathe life into those names and confirm the stories, so the hunt began in 1995.

James Madison Harper was born 1844 in Ohio, married Ruth Jane Blackburn, we went from there and these are the results. Any information would be greatly appreciated, also if there are any errors in any of the information please contact me. This is a living tree for every child that is born is a new branch on this tree and I would like to keep it updated. I will add any and all new information that I find on the ancestry or descendants. So keep looking I will be updating, from time to time, it will be like watering the tree.
