The LeRoy Houck Family Home Page

I am researching my ancestors, both in the Houck and Paskiet (Paszkiet) families. My father was Elmer John Houck, (Aug. 28, 1897 - Mar. 4, 1970) son of George Houck and Anna Elizabeth Buchanan of Van Wert, OH.

My mother was Anna Paskiet (Mar. 12, 1906 - August 5, 2000), daughter of Vincent Paskiet and Mary Kiska of St. Joseph, Michigan. Both maternal grandparents were Polish immigrants. My parents lived in South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana until my Dad passed away on March 4, 1970. Mom moved to Waymart, Pennsylvania in 1971 and returned to South Bend, Indiana in 1990.

There were nine children born of this marriage; Martin, Robert Vincent, Virginia May, Mary Anna, Melvin Richard, Gerald, Barbara Ellen, Carolyn Jean, and me, LeRoy Dean.

Any information would be greatly appreciated, and I am willing to share any information I have.
