The Houlbergs of Massachusettes and their relations.

My father Gordon Vance Houlberg and myself started this research looking for information about his grandfather, Soren Nielsen Houlberg. He had left Denmark as a very young man leaving behind three sisters and a brother. This was the only information we had when we started this.

This site will be devoted to Family research for the following reasons.
1) To locate living family members.
2) To bring together separated Family branches.
3) To celebrate our family heritage with an annual reunion.
4) To instill a sense of awareness that we are not alone in this fast and harried world. That we belong to a proud, respectful, great family. That we have left our mark in this world, and we want to share this knowledge with each other.
