Roger Houghton from Manor of Fresole, Westley, Suffolk 1623

I am endeavouring to research the Houghton Family. I have quite a lot of names, their relationship to each other but few dates and many missing maiden names.Roger Houghton was born sometime in the latter part of the 1500's and bought the Family home in 1623, The Manor of Fresole, Westley, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England.
Charles Solly Houghton, who sailed to New Zealand from London on the Midlothian leaving 10 October 1858 and arriving in Picton 29 January 1859.
John Abbot who was Prime minister of Canada in the 1800's, probably mid to late.
The recurring family professions through the years seem to be Clerks of the Holy Orders, Doctors and Farming.
