In creating my family tree, I have found myself in the small village of Muirkirk, Ayrshire, Scotland in the years around 1800.
I have one ''Hugh Brown'' born around 1773, he married ''Margaret Currie'' on 11/11/1796. A large family then followed '' James on 08/Sep/1797'',''Elizabeth on 19/Apr/1799'',
''William on 19/May/1801'',''Helen on 10/Feb/1802'',''James on
27/Feb/1805'',''Margaret on 10/Jan/1807'',''Agnes on 20/May/1809'',''Jean on 27/May/1811'',''Hugh on 02/Aug/1813'' and
''John on 29/Jan/1816.
I have been unable to find any further information on HUGH BROWN
