They came from Vermont, New York, Upper Canada, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Scotland and Denmark. Also for the NANCE, STOCKTON, MOODY, HOOTEN, LEWELLEN families that went to Texas in the mid 1800's. They came from Wales, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi.
