I am rearching for information on the Surnames Horn, Horne, Capps, Williams, Key, Meadows, Sikes, and Jernigan. John Horn was born in Shilo and was married to Laroma Hargraves. He had 8 children Oscar, Ten, Ventura, Barde, Lori, Claude Nell & Burk. Oscar was my greatgrandfather. I would be interested in any information. I know John Williams Capps married Mary Ann Moss. He died in England in 1599. Their son William Moss Capps settled in VA in 1610. I would like information on his ancestors as well as Mary Ann Moss's. I know John Williams was born in 1691 in Virginia and married Desire Noyes. Their son Joesph Williams died in 1792 in Elbert County GA. John Key was born in Oxfordshire or Yorkshire England early 1600's Daniel Porter Meadows married Caroline Elizabeth Sturkie from Lee County AL The names Sikes and Jernigan appears several times. Any information on these names from England, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama would be appreciated. |
