"The Avery C. Howard Family Home page"

I am trying to research the surnames of Howard, Gilmer, and Hendrix. My Father's namw was Avery J. Howard and wad born in Pickens County, South Carolina in Jan. 1889 and died Apr. 1962.His parents were George Howard and Jinah Hendrix. That is the
only information I have. My mother was Agnes Gilmer. She was born in Anderson County, South Carolina in Apr. 1908 and died in
Dec. 1977. Her Parents were Samuel Cleve Gilmer and Ida Howard.
That is the only information I have on them. Also my father had
a previous marriage. Her name was Irene Hunt. She died in
Apr. 1926. They had four children: Ben, Mary, Ruby and Syble.
Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
