| Come on in, maybe we can help each other. We are researching the Francis Howard family of Putnam, Co, GA. His son Henry Howard of Putnam Co, GA, Francis Howard of Putnam Co, GA and St. Clair, & Calhoun Co, AL and the William J Howard family of Calhoun Co, AL. William J is my grandfather. W. J. was born April 8, 1844 and died Jan.14, 1918 in Wichita Falls, TX. He married Louisa C Davis Nov. 15, 1865 in Shelby Co,AL. They had 3 daughters, Irene, Texas Ann & Josepine. Four sons, Charlie, Arthur, Wilson Dean, and William J, Jr.Wilson Dean, called Dean Howard is my Grandfather. In addition we're looking for descendants of Lewis Carter of Rowan Co, NC. Lewis married Nancy and they had Josiah L Carter, he married twice, Sarah Ann Lufler and Leah F Yost. Josiah and Sarah had, J.F, George, John, Julia, Maggy, and William E. William E went by Ed and he married Alice Ashby and they came to Texas with his father, Josiah. Ed and Alice had Lenard, Frank, Ollie and William Elmore. The McCurleys started out in SC, Maury Co, TN, Bond & Fayette counties of ILL. Denton (McCurley Prairie) Wichita and Haskell counties of TX. Moses,Abraham, Abraham, George W, Frank B and John W. Pollards of TN and then to Texas, Winston and Andrew J Pollard. Teley Pollard married John McCurley Elisha Turner Alred, married Milanda Pace. Need to know Elisha's parents and where Elisha Died. Any information will be appreciated and I will share any information I have. So many gracious people have helped me that I feel obligated to help anyone who needs it.
