I am searching for information on the following family names:Boulware, Howard, Wilburn (Welburn), Wallace, Hellums, Carr, Cooley, Saylors, Bilbrey, Wells, Flemming, and Bolin.

These family branches will be found in Va., S.C., Tenn., Ark., Mo., Miss., and Tex.

I have traced my Boulware linage back to the original James Boulware of Rappahannock Co. Va. My Grand Father was Marshall Gray Boulware, Sr. who married Irene Wallace Wilburn. The Wilburns, Hellums, and Wallaces seem to be primarily from So. C., but John Tyler Hellums spent some time in Tex. after the Civil War.

The Howards, Carrs, Cooleys and Saylors have been in White Co. Tenn. for many generations. My Husband is Franklin D. Howard. His Father was Charlie Howard, and his parents were Evan Scott Howard and Amanda Saylors. His mother was Ruby Maycel Howard and her parents were John Newton Carr and Myrtle Catherine Cooley.

My Mother was Wanda Mae Bilbrey and her father was William Lewell Bilbrey. His parents were James Lawrence Bilbrey and Josephine Flemming. My grandmother was Ella Mae Wells and her parents were James K. Polk Wells and Rosanna Bolin. My mother's people settled in Ark. in the early 1800's via Tenn. and the Carolinas, but Granddaddy's father spent some time around Como and Strayhorn, Miss., but was originally from Ark.
