I am tracing the Howe family backwards from Leo R. Howe of Arbuckle, California. His father was Fredrick or Frederick Leroy Howe b.4/7/1891, d 4/29/1959 (in Arbuckle). Frederick's father was Truman Howe (his twin brother was named Joshua). Truman was born 1840. Truman's father was Joshua, dates unknown. The Howe's had a farm Devereaux, Mich. before migrating to Oregon, then to California. For details as they develop check out dhowe.com Regards, Dave
