I am searching for information about my father, Homer Howell, and mother's, Ellen Muir Shanks, family. I found a lot of info about my father's ancesters on WFT vol 10, tree 3571. I would like to contact the owner of that tree.I cannot find any thing on my mother's family on WFM. Her family originated in Glasgow, Scoland, but traveled the world. Her father's name was Matthew Shanks, he married Annie Orr in Glasgow in 1896. My mother was born in Columbo, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) on 6/8/1904. My grandfather, Matthew Shanks died in Columbo in the early 1940s. Anyone out there to help? |
