The information here contains the names of the Howieson family dating back as far as the middle 1800s, with actual known years (my paternal grandparents) to 1882. These Howiesons, including my father "William" (1923-2003) were born in Scotland. And in 1950 my parents married in Scotland (my mother was a New Zealander, who went to visit relatives in Scotland after WWII ended in 1945). They then came to Canada in 1952.
