Researching Howells and their Burleson relatives that entered Marion County, Alabama early 1800's. Know of brothers John,Stephen and Burrell Wright Howell. Need positive proof of their father as James (?) Howell and mother as Susannah Swain. They originated in North Carolina, probably Anson or Rutherford counties. Striving to get many scattered bits of info so can publish for benefit of everyone. Plan on being at Howell reunion on third Saturday in May, 1999 at Hamilton, Alabama. |
