So...this further confirms that:

*The John Lackie listed in Riverside's Interment records IS our John
Lackie, he was actually born November 30, 1859. 
*The funeral home that attended to this was Alderson Funeral Home in
Waterbury, CT.
*Jean was still living and in the state of Maine at the time of his
father's death in 1931.
*The informant for John was his daughter, Mary Lackey McLelland, who
lived in Chershire, CT at the time.
*The place of birth for James and Jane was North Ireland.
*John died one year after the 1930 census that showed him living with
Mary and Walter McLelland in Bristol, CT.
*Confirms that James WAS his son, and Mary's brother. (But did Mary and
James have the same mother?)
*Confirms that his sisters listed in the 1880 census were still living in
1931 at the time of his death: Rebecca, Elizabeth and Frances AND gives
their married names and locations! Also brings up the question as to
what happened to little Jane?
*Confirms that Samuel is his surviving brother and still lived in
Plaineville at the time of John's death.
