| I am researching the Browning, Close, Campbell, Morris, Highfield, Wood families. Families resided in Ky., Ks., Ia., Ne., Ill., and Ny.George W. Morris was born 5/25/1853 and died 3/27/1933. George W. was married two times. His first wife was Ida B. Steele. Married 8/20/1879. His second wife was Eva Houghton Gates 12/25/1892. They had four children: 1. Fay Anna who died at infancy. 2. Fay Evelyn (Anna) born 2/1/1896. 3. William Jennings Bryan born 9/4/1898 and 3/23/1982. 4. Helene Francis born 12/24/1900 Lucy Ann Highfield born Mason Co. Ky. 3/8/1859 and died 4/15/1901. She married Gilbert Heratio Wood in 1881 in Highland Ks. |
