| I started my research to locate my mothers grand parents. It has now turned into a life long search for family lines. Anyone with any information about William Albert Ayres, his parents, or information about the family who raised him, please contact me. William was born in 1857 in Springfield, Illinois and died in 1938 in Comstock, Nebraska. He married in Indiana and later migrated west to Kansas. Later he followed his sons to Nebraska where he is now buried. His father was killed in the Civil War and his mother died when he was three. He considered himself an orphan and left no information about his family. Death Cerfificate states fathers name may have been Sanford. Any help would be appreciated. |
