I am doing research on the How or Howe surnames. I also save any and all information I can on any surname that is related to the How name.At present I am working on putting the Howe Genealogy book onto FTM. At present I have over 4700 names in my file. The How genealogy book was was printed in 1929. It contains the works of about 40 years of research by Daniel Wait Howe. The printing of the book(s) was done by the New England Historic Genealogical Society in accorance with Daniel Wait Howe's will.

I am presently working on creating a How(e) family association, this association would then be able to work on the planning of a large family reunion as well as other things like deceminating family information, history etc. An ambitious project I know, but I think it can be done with the help of 'the family'.

I have visited the Longfellow's Wayside Inn in Sudbury Mass., which was built by David How in 1701 and continues to be run as an Inn today. I have been back to the Inn several times and have found it to be a fantastic place. I have links on my web page.
