| I am a decendant of Richard Howard who moved to Georgetown District (later to become Marion District of South Carolina) between 1791 and 1799. He married Emily Rebecca Jolly of Marion District and raised a family on land in that area. Family legend maintains that he came from Virginia to settle. I am looking for any clues to his life before 1800. His children were Mary, Charles, Sophia Eliza, Matilda Ann, and Emily Rebecca. |
