| The Holt family name is well known among the early westward moving settlers in Texas. However, its early roots continue back in time to the colonial era of the United States. Much discussion has been given to the years prior to the colonial time. I am interested in learning more about this families European roots. The Deyo family tree is more of a mystery. I have found few references to the Deyo's in Missouri or Ohio and would like information that anyone may have on this family. The earliest listing I have of a Deyo is Maude Deyo in Kansas City, Mo. 1882. Maude Married James B. Howe and moved to Oklahoma. It would be my pleasure to exchange information of these families. |
