The Howell Family of San Diego

Updated March 11, 2001

The Howells have been in San Diego County since 1869. Our ancestors settled in the gold mining town of Julian, about 60 miles east of the City.

Dad's side was: Joseph Farley of Iowa, his wife Sarah Robison of ILL., Frank Harritt of Pictou Nova Scotia, and Carl Edwin Howell of Indiana. We have quite a bit on them already.

Mom's side arrived here in 1921-1922. They were: Carl Peter McCauley and Anna Lucille Kirch of Iowa. They have been a bit of a mystery and we are seeking any and all help with them.

We hope to link up with other decendants of these lines.
