| My branch of the Howle family is currently traced back to Epaphroditus Howle, born 1685. Our Howle family is thought to have come to the United States through Virginia ports and settled in New Kent County. Decendents in our branch of the Howle family moved from Virginia to Darlington County, SC where many of my relatives including my father still reside. In addition to the Howle family, I am researching the following other kindred families: GARNER (John Garner, John Garner II, and John GarnerIII of Coronets, NC and his son William Garner born 3/1/1769 in Darlington County, SC) MASON (John Mason born abt 1740 in Virginia & died in Laurens County, SC) LANGSTON (William Langston born in England, father of Henry Langston born in England and died in England 11/25/1591) GUNTER (John Gunter born 1490 Kintbury, England) My Wife is Lila Marienda Johnston and on her side of the family I am researching the following families: JOHNSTON (Alexander Wilson Johnston born 7/7/1777) HUXFORD (Sarah Estelle Huxford born 8/14/1865 in Russelville, SC) MERCER (Christopher Columbus Mercer and his son James Buchannan Mercer) NEWTON (William Walter Newton born 2/13/1828) I am interested in help filling in the blanks and extending my research.
