In the Name of God Amen
I Ferdinand Hubly of Lunenburg in the capitol province of Nova Scotia,
yeoman considering the uncertainty of this Mortal life, and being of sound
mind and memory blefsed be thee Lord for it, Do make and publish this my
last will and Testament in manner and form as follows (that is to say) I
command my soul into the hand of the Almighty God who gave it me, and my
body to the earth from whence it came to be buried, in a Christian like and
decent manner and as for that worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God
to blefs with, (after paying my lawful debts and funeral expense) I dispose
as follows, First I give and bequeath to my wife Catherine the full
pofsefsion of my Thirty Acre Lot at North West Range where I now reside on
with all the Personal Estate until my son Benjamin shall arrive to his
Lawful age. I give & bequeath my two sons Jonas Hubly and Benjamin Hubly my
aforesaid Thirty Acre Lot with buildings thereon and all my Personal Estate
(when the said Benjamin shall arrive to his Lawful age) to be equally
divided among them to their heirs and afsigns forever and the said Jonas and
Benjamin are to maintain and support my said wife in a decent manner but if
they could not agree to live together, the said Jonas and Benjamin shall
give my said wife yearly six Bushels of grain and three pounds in money and
hay for one cow and the fruit of two trees in the Aurchard of her choice and
the third part of the House with the Iron stove but if my said wife should
mary again she shall not be entitled to receive the above mentioned
Articles, but shall take her Dower according to Law It is also my will that
my two sons Jonas and Benjamin shall give to my two Daughters Lucy and
Hannah (each of them) one Cow with a Calf and five pounds in money
emediately after they my two sons Jonas and Benjamin takes pofsefsion of the
aforesaid estate, I give and bequeath to my two afore said sons Jonas and
Benjamin and Christopher Corkam my stepson all that my right and share of a
grant of Land situate in the rear of the three hundred acre Lots in the
Township and County of Lunenburg being two hundred Acres to be equally
divided between them I give and bequeath to the said Christopher Corkam
the one half of sixty acres of Land being part of the three hundred Acre Lot
No. five letter C first Division purchased from Casper Young if the said
Christopher Corkam shall help to pay a promisary note which I have given to
the aforesaid Casper Young I give and bequeath to my two sons Jonas and
Benjamin aforesaid, the other half of the aforesaid Sixty Acres of Land to
be equally Divided between them, but if the aforesaid Christopher Corkam do
not help and afsist to pay the full amount of the aforesaid Promisary note
then I also give and bequeath the afore said half of sixty acres of Land to
my two sons Jonas and Benjamin aforesaid. Lastly I nominate and appoint my
Friend Paulus Langille and my Brother George Hubly Executors of this my last
will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made,

Know all men by these presents that I Jacob Hubly Son of Ulrich Hubly of the Town of Lunenburg in the Province & County aforesaid, for and in consideation of the Sum of Forty Seven Pounds Currency of this Province to me in hand well and truly paid before the Envealing by John Peter Lod of the Town and County of Lunenburg Yeoman. The Receipt whereof do hereby acknowledge and am therewith fully satisfied, and thereof and of every part thereof do acquit and discharge him the said John Peter Lod and his Heirs for ever. Have Given Granted, Bargained, Sold Aliened and Conveyed over, and by these Presents do clearly and absolutely confirm unto him the said John Peter Lod his Heirs and Assigns for Ever, a certain Tract ot Thirty Acre Lott of Land situated in the Township of Lunenburg aforesaid being described in North West Range - Letter B. number 45, containing Thirty Acres more or less, with all the Improvements and Danger thereon, and all the 'Bick' Privileges, Advantages, Commons, Pasture Trees Woods, Water, Courses, ways and all other Opportunities and Members thereunto belonging or reputed to belong thereto, as also the Deed Evidence and Writings concerning the same. To Have and to Hold the said demised Thirty Acre Lot of land to him the said John Peter Lod his Heirs Executors Administrators and assigns forEver. And I the said Jacob Hubly for myself and heirs Executors and Administrators, do hereby furthe Covenant Promise and agree that I shall and will for ever warrant maintain support and Defend the Clear good sufficient and undisputable Title full Property and quiet and peaceable profession as an Estate in Tree simple of in and to the said Thirty Acre Lot above demised unto him the said John Peter Lod hid Heirs and Assigns and against all manner of Person or Persons Claiming or pretending to claim any Right Title or Interest to the same, as also against all former or future Gifts, Grants, Sales, Dispositios, Mortgages or other Incumbrances whatsoever.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the First Day of August in the Twentieth First Year of his Majestys Reign King George the Third, Annoqus Domini, 1781.
