Notes for J
OHANNES HUBLEY:
Notes for (JOHANNES) JOHN HUBLEY:
Information on Johannes is from Bob Crowther's 2002 Addendum to his book "Ulrich Hubley of Nova Scotia"

John Hubley settled in the Seabright area of St. Margaret's Bay Nova Scotia in the late 1700's or early 1800's.

The dismissal of Johannes and his wife from the Northwest Baptist Church is noted in the church records on June 24, 1923. Johannes along with his brothers had been active in the founding of this church in 1809.

It certainly appears that his family is entered in the 1927 St. Margaret's Bay census where the notation shows him to be a Farmer and a Baptist with a household including 7 males and 2 females.

His will is recorded at Halifax County, Volume 6, page 53 with last Codicil written on January 18, 1847.
