D I C K I N S O N (AULT), Dorothy P. - Peacefully, at her daughter’s residence, on Wednesday January 8, 2003, with her family by her side. Dorothy P. (Ault) Dickinson, 78 years of age, daughter of the late Charles B. and Iva Pearl Ault, beloved wife of Dr. Thurston E. (Ted) The following is the Obituary of my (first) cousin, Dorothy. What is missing is that her mother was Iva (Hubley) Ault. Iva was the daughter of Thomas and Minnie May Mason of Black Point NS (sister of my father, Gordon). Dorothy was born in Halifax, and graduated as a Registered Nurse from The Halifax Infirmary in 1945. She married in 1957 and she and her husband relocated to Niagara Falls at that time. Her husband's family were United Empire Loyalists who settled in the St. John's River Valley (Meductic).
Dickinson, dear mother of Dr. Ruth and her husband Tim Connelly, Mississauga, loving grandmother of Kyle, Chloe and Clarisse, niece of Muriel Hubley, Halifax, and Marjorie Hubley, Toronto, and sister-in-law of Keith Dickinson and his wife Muriel, Edith Dickinson, Woodstock, NB, Loretta and her husband Curtis Northrup, Moncton, NB, Jackie and her husband Ian Macdonald, Perth, Ont. and Elizabeth and her husband Ervin McHatten, Wakefield, NB. She is also predeceased by sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen Dickinson and Bobby Dickinson. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Friday. Funeral service will be held at Redeemer Bible Church on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Canadian Cancer Society, Redeemer Bible Church Memorial Fund or Gideon Memorial Bibles.
