MICHEAL HOFFMAN, is the patriarch of our German-Russian family who left Germany
and migrated to Russia. He and his wife Catharina arrived in Russia, at
Oranienbaum on the 22 of July in 1766. They were original settlers of the
Village of DIETEL (Olenscha) on 1 July 1767.
They were of the LUTHERAN FAITH, and were farmers.
This information was researched by Dr. Igor Pleve, German-Russian Researcher
with the SARATOV UNIVERSITY, in Saratov, Russia,
There were 4 children by his fist marriage to Catharina, and 3 children by his
second marriage to Dorothea.
The marriage date of his second marriage is not shown.

She was the second wife of Micheal Hoffman. The researcher did not find her
maiden name.
