MICHEAL HOFFMAN, is the patriarch of our German-Russian family who left Germany
and migrated to Russia. He and his wife Catharina arrived in Russia, at
Oranienbaum on the 22 of July in 1766. They were original settlers of the
Village of DIETEL (Olenscha) on 1 July 1767.
They were of the LUTHERAN FAITH, and were farmers.
