Mandaville Scott's Civil War Medal
This is the medal Mandaville Scott received for serving in the Union Army for Jan. 4, 1863 to April 8, 1865. He was a private in the 7th West Virginia Cavalry and he participated in many batles in the Kanawha Valley and in places such as Cold Harbor, Virginia. This medal indicates that he served in the Grand Army of the Republic with honor and distinction.
