Families of Interst:Hudson,
Edwards,
McKinney,
Patillo,
Skelton.

Hudsons, Edwards, Mckinneys and Skeltons originated in the South. Patillo, Pattillo, Pittullo, came from Scotland and settled in Illinois and descendants intermingled with Edwards and Skelton.

Although there are lots of Hudsons, as far as I know most of my Hudsons came from the South, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennesse, Missouri.

My Edwards apparently originated in the the South too and the oldest known relative is Milton Edwards, born Oct 10, 1841, in Gallatin County, IL. These Edwards may have come from North Carolina into Tennessee. At this time I think Milton's father was Lorenzo Edwards.

The McKinneys possibly came from North Carolina too. Vincent McKinney, born about 1806 in Tennessee, is my oldest McKinney relative. He married Nancy Newton Jan 28, 1834 in Jefferson County, Tennessee. I would like to learn more on this line.

The Skeltons came from South Carolina to Illinois about 1830.

If you can help me that'd be great. If I can help you that'd be great too. Just follow the link.
