He married Damaris Howard on 19 January 1708/09 in Chesterfield, Burlington County, New Jersey484.

His will was probated 2 December 1747, (at Chesterfield)he is called yeoman; his children were named. The executors of his will were his wife Damaris and his son Samuel.

He filled a number of Township offices, the last in 1735.

His marriage to Damaris Howard is in the Chesterfield, Friends Meeting Records, New Jersey Colonial Documents.
