Thomas R. Evans^{331, 332, 333, 334, 335, 336} was born 1830 in Pennsylvania^{337, 338, 339, 340, 341}, and died 27 April 1893 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania^{342, 343, 344, 345, 346, 347}. He married Mary Jane Lawrence on Abt. 1853³⁴⁷, daughter of Michael Lawrence.

From 1867 to at least 1870 Thomas' brother-in-law, Hiram Lawrence, is living with him and his family.
Per Thomas' obituary anyone from Eastern Star Lodge No. 186 F. & A.M. (American Mechanics) was invited to his funeral.
