 Includes NotesNotes for Henry Sweitzer:
[Evans, Virginia.ged]

Henry lived at 124 Race Street, SW corner of 4th, (In 1801 he is listed on West side of 4th St. at the corner.) across the street from his father-in-law Charles Kugler at 143 Race, NW corner of 4th street. (It appears as though Henry lived at the SW corner as the Dutch Reformed Church is located on the SE corner. Verified by the fact that the 1810 census for Henry & Mary is page 84 of South Mulberry Ward the boundaries of which are North 4th and Sassafras (Race) which means they had to be West of 4th and South of Race.
There is no mention of Henry's grave in the tombstone inscription list for St. Mary's graveyard.

Hi James and Debbie; Some of the stuff from Debbie's package has my mind? troubled. For years I had assumed that Barbara Shank my #9585 was married to the Simon Schweitzer #9585 who arrived on a ship in 1749 Philadelphia, and they had a son Henry married to a Mary/Maria widow and 9585 Barbara Schweitzer's grandson Simon. see PA GenSoc Vol 5 pg 274 for WILL of Barbara 9585 in Philadelphia Co.probate? Filed? 10Aug1807! I have had his parent as Lorentz which seems an error if #9582 Simon arrived in 1749 with a son Conrad; Was reviewing copy of the WILL from Debbie, and found a problem- perhaps 2 Simon Schweitzer or his wife was a different Barbara? I NEED HELP! To correct this mess perhaps the Henry married Mary Kugler might be the son Henry deceased mentioned in the 1807y WILL of Barbara ??? m Simon Schweitzer, lived Philadelphia County. Both Henry's had sons Simon, dgt Catherine. The 1807 WILL Barbara had a sister Catherine marr Zieber, and her children in WILL of 1807y were Henry dec. Debora, perhaps recorded in German Reformed Church of Philadelphia, legacy in WILL. She was related to Ludwig Schweitzer who's dgt Barbara received a legacy in WILL of 1807.
