Assumed to be the father of Dionysius Friedrich Reimer who was about 22 years old when he was married in Mutterstadt in 1715. Johann Jacob's burial record stated he had 4 sons and 4 daughters but Dr. Burkhart Oertel, who researched the records in Mutterstadt could only account for 2 sons and 2 daughters.
