I found William in the 1880 Census for Quinton Twp., Salem County, NJ ED 146, Page 5 (Page 119A) living with his son Lewis. The last name is spelled Myers. He was 97 years old and a laborer.

First is his death; Meyers- In Quniton, on July 6, 1884, William Meyers, aged 101 years, 6 months and 11 days. Second, Quinton Facts; William Meyers, our centenarian, who was stricken with paraysis a week previous, passed away on Sunday, in the 102d year of his age. He was born December 25, 1783. The funeral takes place to-day, with interment at Canton.
