The Huddleston's from Lincoln and The Johnston's from Elgin

We have completed the Huddleston branch of our family from William Huddleston, 1818-1890. They lived in Lincoln, England. He had a son Frederick William Huddleston, who married Clare Snow. His wife was Sarah. His grandson Johnson Snow Huddleston was Roger's grandfather. We would like to trace descendants of Percy Frederick Huddleston. We know he had a son , Frederick John, b 1893, who emigrated to the USA c 1916.

We have a useful book caled "THE HUDDLESTONS" writtten 1928. In it the descendants of Thomas Huddleston 1750-1821, who married Mary Gent are listed. They also came from Lincoln, England. We'd be glad to share the information in this, book.

We are searching for the link between our branch of the Huddlestons and this other branch.

We have collated all available information about the Johnston Family, who came originally from Buchan in Scotland. The family is believed to be descended from Sir Ide Johnston. The Title and the estates were lost after the 1715 rebellion, when the family supported the "wrong side". We hve inteseting documents tracing the frotunes of the family from 1695 to the present day, including the Johnstons who founded JOHNSTONS OF ELGIN.
