The Huff, Hough, Hoff, & Haff Research Center

The World's largest holding of information on Huff, Hough, Hoff & Haff families who lived in the U.S. between 1650 and 1880. Approximately 15,000 of these families are in digital form for fast searches. Queries are welcome and there is no charge for most. This data is largely the work of Prof. Granville W. Hough who collected the information on all variants of these surnames for over 40 years. He copied all mentions of these surnames from the National Archives and every U.S. Census, as well as all available pubished genealogies and other references. These were assembled into family groups and family lines, where possible.I also publish the Huff/Hough/Hoff Newsletter bi-monthly. It is dedicated to the research of all lines of these surnames. Each issue is usually eight pages of data from the above resource, plus subscriber contributions. Now in it's fifth year. Subscriptions are currently $15.00 per calendar year.My own line is linked to Edmund (1747-1820) and Nancy (Jones) Huff/Hoff of central PA.
