The Holsinger-Huffstutlers of Kansas

I have just started my search for family history for my family and my husbands family. It is a little overwhelming, but I am finding that my parents and in-laws are into this too.
The Holsingers are currently in Kansas and Texas, but I believe they may have originated from Pennsylvania. The Huffstutlers are currently in Alabama and Kansas. I would love to find information on the grandparents, great grandparents, etc. of my families.
I know that Frank Holsinger was a Major in the Civil War, but I don't know who he married. He had a son, George, my grandfather, Wilmer Morgan(his mother's maiden name), then my father, Wilmer Craig. Wilmer Morgan married Anna or Oma Marie Ryan. I have found quite a few people from her family via the internet. She is kind of why I got started with this. She passed away when my father was young and so I never knew her, and never learned about her family.
My husbands family are from around Kansas(Cassias)and Alabama(Huffstutler).
