We're just beginning our family research and have very little to report but we're going to keep plugging away. I am finding a lot of information on my surname, Leas as well as ancestors with various surnames such as Amack, Ortquist, York and others. I hope if you see your surname on my page you'll try to determine if we might be related. Really struggling with the Huff connection so please... any information you have will be helpful. We began this as a school project for my youngest son. He needed to know if we were related to anyone "famous". The late country music singer Jim Reeves was a 3rd cousin to my Grandma Garnet Pearl Amack Leas. And I believe someone is trying to see if the late actor Rex Lease might be related as well. Interesting! |
