| I am seeking any further information on John Griffin, Jr. who was born in Wales/England circa 1596, married Anna (Hannah) Bancroft on May 13, 1647, and died in Simsbury, CT circa 1681. They had a son, Thomas, born Oct. 3, 1658 and died Aug. 28, 1719. Their descendants moved from Simsbury, CT to Sudbury, VT during the late 18th or early 19th century and include the names Benoni, Alanson, Alonzo, Edwin, Delmar, and Paul. Other surnames connected to this family are Welton, DeLacey, Viets, Ray, Dimick, Germond, Willis, Jenks. I would appreciate any information that could be forwarded to me via e-mail or USPS. I am also researching The Hugh Morris-Gaynor Jones Family originating in Wales. Their daughter Annie Morris, 1881-1964, immigrated to the United States circa 1900 and married Samuel Hughes who also immigrated from Wales. They settled and had children in Quincy, MA. Any information would be greatly appreciated. |
