| My current research has included many of my father's ancestors--the Hugheys of Glasgow, Scotland, the Proffits of Scotland, the Alexanders, the Pitt/Pitts from England, the Stinson/Stephensons, the Coxes, the Crowes, the Waggoners from Germany, the Dickerson/Dickensons, the Strode/Strouds of England, the Dumfords of Germany, the Cosbys of England, the Thompson of Virginia, the McCallisters, Hendersons, and Alexanders of Scotland, the Pleasants of England, and many interlinked families. My ancestors in America started out in Pennsylvania (the Waggoners), Virginia, and the Carolinas. My moved to Kentucky and from there elsewhere in the USA. I am also researching the ancestors of my mom: the Sills, the Stuarts, the Bells, the VanSkivers, and the McTaggarts, all from Canada, and the Taborskys and Havels, from what is now the Czech Republic. |
