Some of the descendants of Thomas Hughson

I have been researching the Hughson family for over 20 years and
with help of Tom Dignacco and Alan Bunner I have done well.
Last year my husband's Aunt started a Hughson family reunion. It is scheduled for Aug. 19, 2001, will gladly give details if anyone is interested. There is also a Hughson Family Crest.

Thomas Hughson was born @1670 in England (unable to locate where).The Hughson name is Scotish and comes from the Shetland Islands.We are part of the MacDonald clan. And are of Viking stock.
Thomas Hughson married Maria Dobbs (daughter of Walter and Mary Merritt Dobbs)in 1694 in New York Colony and died in 1741 in New York Colony. They had many children: Thomas, b1695; John, b @1700 d 1741; William b @1704; Richard b @ 1705; Mary b @ 1706; Abigail b @ 1707; Benjamin b @1709; Walter b @ 1710; Nathaniel b @ 1712; Many intesting things have happened to the family from the beginning.
