| I am researching the branch of the Hughes Family that includes James Preston Hughes of Letcher County, Kentucky. He would have been born around 1857 on the Troublesome Fork of Licking River. On October 16, 1884 He married Sarah Blanton. Their children were Charlie Cyrus, Millard Franklin, Ellis Gail, Sarah Dalila, Andrew Jackson, Martin Derice and John William. I am descended through John William. Other names I am looking for include Bailey, Hopkins, Music, Blanton, Minarik, Vlach, Baldridge and Bently with, I am sure, more names to be added later I would appreciate any help I can get and would gladly share information that I have as well. |
