The Hughes Family

Our branch of the Hughes Family now live in Manchester, England.

I am researching Hughes ancestors from Stepney, London.My Great Grandfather was Valentine Stephen Hughes (Born 1888), he married Sarah Ellen Green in 1910.

The Green's and Thomasson's from Marbury, Cheshire. Sarah Ellen was born in Speke, Liverpool, but her family were from Norbury, Cheshire. Her father was Robert Green, the local wheelwright and he married Jane Thomasson of Marbury.

And the Jones's and Vaughan's from Shropshire. My Great Grandfather William James Jones was from Ludlow (His father was James Jones, a Carraige maker) William married Gertrude Irene Vaughan at Stoke st Milbugh (Her father was William Vauaghan, Blacksmith at the Heath)
