I would like to thank all those that started this research and all those that contribute to it's ongoing growth. These records chronicle the individuals of my family. The Achy's from the Pennsylvania Dutch and the Hughes's, Willey's and Wheatley's of the Eastern Shore. You'll also find Tillotson's from my stepfather's familly.
Additional Surnames include: Gordy, Ellis, Smoot, Lankford, Marine and Gaudette.

I have been putting some effort into bringing the Willey's of the eastern shore together, if possible. I recognize that many believe that Absalom, Waitman, Levin and William are all descendents of Isaac Willey from New England, but the dates provided for Abraham (who is generally listed as the father of all 4) to have moved south do not match with the earlist Willeys on the shore. Specifically Francis Willey who mentions his grandson Absalom in his will in 1747. Not necessarily the same Absalom but Francis was obviously in place before Abraham could have arrived.
The Wheatley file information has been collected from many sources, and personal research. In some cases the information was not consistent and thus you'll find many estimated dates. My initial sources included pedigree and ancestor charts submitted to Yates Publishing by Mrs. C. Warren DeMott; An outline descendent report compiled by Carroll Collins; and, The Descendents of Ezekial H.T. Wheatley compiled by Louise Ellis, All to whom I give great thanks.
